I'm sure everyone notices the $0.012 to nearly $2 recent jump in 2weeks.  Thats 150x.  Look at their website and ANN thread in bitcointalk.org. nothing revolutionary about this coin at all. All marketing. Different languages etc

to point out that the coin's mechanics are nothing extraordinary in the least, but apparently they have figured out how to market it.  In particular, look at all the countries' domains they have launched in respective languages.  Most likely a good idea to follow suit if possible during a marketing push

That's true. A cynical fact is that what makes is or breaks it is generally marketing and not technical excellence. It won't hurt if you're technically superior like NXT  :)

I think with the bounties and strong community we can achieve similar to what Megacoin is doing. I didn't pay attention to it due to it being a plain 1st gen copycoin, but apparently they're doing right what they can. Have to check it out for an inspiring example when I have a few mins to spare.

Going globl is right direction - thats without discussion. I registered today nextcoin.pl. Talking about marketing, we could crete some freeware/open source repository of next related materials like nice logos, texts about next, scripts. Some resources that anyone can take from, adopt it to diffrent languages and spread around the world...

Let me know if you need these domains! Or let´s discuss how to create a German site. I would translate it to German. Go NXT! :)

That would be great to have the same layout in the different languages (not creating for every country a separate/different one)
