This is the list of peers that were offline. Clean it time to time.

"Blacklisted" terminology make no sense.
"OffLine" is more accurate.

Actually this list is for blacklisting. Offline nodes is unrealiable node and deserves to be blacklisted.

I agree with ghosty. The terminology makes it seem unnecessary shady. Changing the term to "offline hosts" would be a great QoL change. Having a mouse over "what is this?" box explaining it would be nice as well.

Why would an offline host show up their anyway? What value does it have?

come-from-beyond:

my dedicated node got blacklisted on some other dedicated nodes...
Dont know why? Perhaps of other nodes running other Versions???

I think there should be a blacklist autoremove after lets say 24 hours....
you decrease network size with this mechanism...and we have not enough public nodes
cause everyone is running behind a NAT...

THANK YOU for spending some NXT @   8707785682971074378
for having my well-known-node up and running

But you are not blacklisting a node, you are blacklisting an IP. The node may have a different IP some hours later, and the blacklisted IP may be assigned to someone else.

And then start working for the network.

and your answer was it may go online some day. But what is the point of having its IP address in the list when it goes online (again) to work for the network? Beside that the IP may not be related to the node that it is currently assigned to.

Just in case if most of the nodes went offline due to an attack. Then every known node is very valuable.
