I just got 4 coins somehow..

I never deposit I was going to buy some tonight but too tired and will go sleep..

How did this 4 coins appear? Is it that someone send me 4 coins? I thought that you cannt forge with 0 nxt in the account

Same here.  I registered today and someone sent 4 NXT my way.  I definitely appreciate it, though I really won't understand how forging works until those 4 get a lot more confirmations.  Thanks whoever sent them.

I want to transfer 2 from my 4 to a guy here in the forum but it seems I cannt transfer without putting a fee.

What is the minimum fee?

from the link Drexme post I will say the minimum fee is 1.
its a guess from me. I just start to learn nxt today. if you can give me 1 coin to help me start will be great.

I was lucky enough to get this 4 NXT as well, but this minimum fee of 1 coin is somewhat painful for us little folks just getting started :-\

Would be nice if it was a percentage or something; doesn't incentivise micro-payments & distribution..

Am I getting this right: if you have at least 1 coin, your client starts generating NXTs, and the amount of generating increases by the amount of coins one has? Just got my client working...I'm a bit confused with NXT, but I love the fresh idea...there are enough bitcoin forks.
