I think 5M in the last 24 hours is a LOT. Even more considering that everyone now is like stand by because of mtgox.. I have my btc in some other places like stamp, btc-e.. after all this normalize i'll send a few more to bter. People now is gaining money surfing this btc waves.. and some other, the most, panic losing money. Relax and wait all this mtgox nonsense get solved and nxt will grow.. i don't know if you know but next weeks are gonna be full of good news and new releases, event, etc.. for nxt. Good things happening. Price could easily be double in a few weeks.

There is many things happening. One of the following is this.

AE
11th of Feb - public test
Xth of Feb - release

Big amount of REALLY talented people working on NXT and this just started.. Do U really think this is not going to grow in the next weeks? There is things being done that i didn't even imagine they were possible.

Interest drops over time, but it will stabilize.

Can you please help me increase the NXT trading volume on Newaltex.com? It will be much appreciated.

I'm giving NXT the respect it deserves with its own 'NXT Markets' section.

One problem NXT definitively has is that the wallet works in another way as the bitcoin "copycoins", that
prevents exchanges to adopt NXT.
There are so much other Altcoins out there or upcoming which would be easier to integrate in their platforms that NXT keeps on the bottom of their
TODO-lists.

I think a wrapper with a bitcoin compatible API to the NXT-Wallet could make the decision for exchange owners much easier.

Another interesting thing is that the NXT community  seems to underestimate cryptsy.
There are so many Crapcoins with more support at their "please addd XXX-coin" threads than NXT has. I know NXT wants to be more than just another altcoin (and I belief in that too), but I think we cannot mis this step.

All just IMHO about that...

Thanks for your opinion GreenDude! Let's hope this forthcoming news can shake the markets! I also think that there are a lot of talented people working to do NXT something really different than Bitcoin and all the copy coins. It is true that NXT resisted quite well all the mtgox problems. Despite volume transaction decrease, price keeps quite stable.

Despite volume transaction decrease, price keeps quite stable.

It keeps stable relative to BTC, but BTC keeps on losing value so I don't see anything stable at the moment.  It's going down just like any other altcoin atm.

Bitcoin is the gold standard other coins are based on still.  NXT definitely needs to be on Cryptsy, if I was a big NXT holder I would be working that avenue.
