Offspring has only one good start in it
« on: February 15, 2014, 06:46:07 PM »
One thing I am noticing about my Offspring client is that once I install it I can start it up once. Since I leave it running all the time that's not a major issue. However, when my computer needs to shut down and restart for an update I do have to also shut the client down. Then when I attempt to reopen it, it gives me an error restarting message and locks up. My workaround is that I just delete it and then re-install from my downloads file. This morning I tried to check the website to see if there was an updated version but the site appears to be down--I can't connect to it. So I just re-installed the version I have and it seems to be working fine and will be good until the next time I have to shut my computer down.

So.. this is an improvement over my experience with the local host web-based wallet--that one I couldn't even get to work without some serious handholding (thanks joefox!). This one I can at least get it working again. Still, it's not perfect and rather annoying, so I hope there's a fix soon.
