Not really. you will have to verify on the other board if they are indeed the same person. and then you will need to decide if you trust them based on their rep on that other board.

It's not only confusing but dangerous, if someone comes in with a Hero-Member name from bitcointalk and starts here!
And of course, you shouldn't have to track that, but if we have a scam report, like the lophie-case or the Bybitcoin-case, why not get the proof, and ban the imposter (whichever it might be). Otherwise every user (even the most vulnerable newbies) has to do a lot of verification before trading or communicating.
