I think I need at least 5.10? Is that on work or should I stay with Terminal?

You probably don't have the entire blockchain loaded yet - it checks in the blockchain for the current version. So wait for that to be completed: we are at 57980 or so now. Then use NxtMac > check for updates in the menu.

That worked, thank you so far. It shows now 0.5.11 on the down left side. But right after starting there is an Error:

"Server Error
An Error occurred, the Server has quit. Please restart the Application."

And ever when I try again, the same Error occurs.  Any Idea?

Edit: Forging fine after Reboot...
Edit2: Now generating incorrect Blocks. What to do?

pulled out an old mac mini, unfortunately it runs on 10.4 which doesnt support java 1.7

It did for me, but I made a new version anyway with 0.6.1 pre-installed - and updates to 0.7.0e work fine.

this works great! thanks for putting this together!

...on a side note. I have noticed that when I elect to update the software it often crashes after the update prompting me to restart the client. I'll capture the error message next time it happens.

I'm kind noob but how do I "kill all java processes"? I've been using the 0.21 version and have the same problem with the 0.22 version.

I have troubles with the Macclient unfortunately. I have restarted, redownloaded, reinstalled, block chain downloaded, but nothing. The client keeps stuck on block 56152.

Yes, I too and having this issue. Started when I updated to 0.7.3...now I can not download and resinstall anything without getting error! What to do?

My errors are gone no. I just kept restarting and reinstalling the client.
