U can use up to 100 (national) symbols for ur phrase. Looks secure enough to me.

Security, for nerds like us. Now... when the overall general public starts using NXT, how do we protect them? How do we prevent them from creating a terrible password, lose all their coins and then end up in the news down the road?

Why is this entire wallet designed so complicated. I think it's a big problem of the NXT coin, that it is too complicated to install the wallet. The user wants a reasonable installation file and a wallet which can opened with one click. The browser-based variant is a very unfortunate choice.

Simple. Enforce long enough passwords. But this touches upon the liberty of people... 

How long is a long enough password For All Practical Purposes with the NXT context and modern brute force techniques? 8 random characters used to cut it in the old days, but I think it's more likely at least double that now.
