Sent 10NXT from dgex.com to my wallet but it's not showing up

Hi guys,

I sent 10NXT about 18 hours ago from my dgex account.  Yet the transaction is still showing pending. 
Is this normal?  If so, this is pretty slow.

I'm a newbie to NXT so please educate me

Hey Ivan. Yeah. It's normal at this phase. Expect 12 to 24 hours before it is completed.

pretty standard. it even says it'll take at least 12 hours on dgex.

The last 5 transactions (withdrawals and fund store) of mine were handled within 24 hours. Except of course, when the exchange was under DDoS attack. I am pretty happy about it.

 Like Ivan I'm a newbie too in NXT, so please don˙t judge me to hard  for my sometimes stupid questions that y will post them on forum and becouse my english is very bad y will sometimes be misunderstood.
 Y don`t want me to open a new topic for my questions, so y would be happy if y can post them right here if it is alowed.? By the way y came to this topic becouse the same reason Ivan did. Now y know the reason for such a delay in transaction (pendings) is in a lack off owners NXT and theirs action on the market.
Can somebody please tell me, why y must always first set the amount of sendings BTC or NXT in withdrawin or adding funds options on dgex and how can somebodey than donate you on your`s acount without with you previous knowing for that? How to get free coins with helping the market NXT to grow and his potential, this is my nightmair on this forum becouse of a lack knowlidge y have and not mother language. Thanks for your patience with my rightings

Dgex is just an exchage where you can buy Nxt for Btc or Btc for Nxt. You don't have to own Dgex account to receive ot send Nxt. If you want to receive donations you need to install the client (wallet). You can find a client version for your os here https://nextcoin.org/index.php/board,3.0.html

Y am trying all this thing to work today but y saw that NXT chain block is down, so with my knowlidge about ewerything abouth this stuff y cannot tell if anything work properly now. Please see the picture for more help to me becouse y don`t now what to do further to get some donations, send and recive coins.. please help. or look at the picture all right.. Yep, you did right. Your account is in the top left corner: 5566950218935748459

Hit the button "View history" in your Dgex.com account, you'll probably see PENDING withdrawal. Your coins will be sent to your account within 24 hours. Then it'll be changed to COMPLITED. When it's done you'll see your coins in the client that you installed.

No, BTC deposits are instant and NXT deposits a few hours (daytime) to 12 hours (night GMT). Anything outside this indicates a problem - usually client error but sometimes our error or technical mismatch - that may take from 5 minutes to 2-3 weeks to resolve, if you want a general estimation of all cases resolved.

I'm sorry I didn't understand the question. What kind of benefits you're expecting from using the client except sending and receiving Nxt? You can also forge (mine) some Nxt if you have a lot them on your account.
