Smallest NXT Amount?

I've been playing around with NXT, which I love so far. The one thing I can't seem to figure out is how small of a fraction of a coin can NXT get? In my wallet, I see two decimal points, but is it possible to have smaller coins?

I'm asking because I'm looking into making a NXT faucet, and I need to do some math to see if it's financially viable.

2 decimals are in the code for exchanges, but room has been made for addidional decimals. Every NXT is a 64bit number.

What about the future? Will we ever need to pay anything in mNXT, or will it always be whole integers?
