Read Only clients for NXT

I'm a fan of Bitcoin Armory as it enables the secure storage of your Bitcoin offline where hackers can't get at it and has a Read Only wallet so you can monitor transactions but can't spend.

If I am understanding NTX correctly, all my ntx would have to be stored in the network. Is there any plans for having offline storage available? I didn't see any mention of anything like that. A second question conditional on the first is whether storing in an offline wallet would diminish my chances at forging?

I don't think there is a use for a Nextcoin version of Amory, since you can monitor all transactions to every account online.
Just use the blockchain explorer if you would like to try to follow your account: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=1. This way, you don't need to login to your wallet to check your balance.
