Did they really ? That's absurd. They add every clonse out there that uses the little to not at all adapted qt-wallet and then they require a better client for NXT ?

Nxt is too good for Cryptsy. Scrap Coins find the way to Cryptsy I can do without it once there are other things.
Nxt is not a coin for the fast euro / dollar

Uhm, Bitcoin and Litecoin are also on Cryptsy. Wouldn't call your major trading partner a "scrap coin"  ;D

I bought some Digibyte (yeah, I know, but it's easy money) and even they have a one-click-immediately-100%-working-and-flawless-client.

It should be (and is) NXT's #1 or #2 priority as well.

I can record the exchanges sexcoin and Mooncoin and other scrap not take seriously therefore I trade outside only on btc-e.
But who stands on casino games goes directly to something like cryptsy.
But is only my opinion I'm a bit old fashioned

Oh, I agree with you completely. It's just that Bitcoin and Litecoin are no scrap coins (just inferior, hehehe).

NXT and BTC are my main investments, with NXT being the major part.
Those alt-coins are just for fun, to make a fast buck and reinvest in NXT  8)

Why is Cryptsy able to add so many coins so quickly and we only get Bter and Vircurex?  We need Cryptsy, its in the USA!  Its got to be good.   The whole Russia thing really spooked some folks.  BTCe is in Bulgaria, they could follow Russia in a heartbeat.  I sold all of my LTC and PPC at BTCe the second Russia banned it.   GO CRYPTSY!!

I don't want to be negative at all, but they are right. The NXT client is far from being stable. Please, don't get me wrong, I like the features and the way NXT is going, but we need something better. I'm a dev who has been interested by implementing NXT into another system, and I was even looking at contributing to the core project, but other than an investor, I'm out right now.

I'm checking the releases, always updating to the latest client, but it simply takes a few days and the client will start misbehaving. I reported a _very_ simple way of exhausting memory just after the release of the code and the posts were ignored at first. All done by devs relying on things like GC. So, without getting negative, there is _no_ major exchange that will take NXT seriously right now. You might be comparing this to scrap coins or shitcoins, but get real, these were copied from a very well written and tested code base. Don't blame these guys, they are serious and the fact that they want a better client before deploying is real.

The current code used a very wrong model. It was originally made closed source and once unveiled, only "part" of the code has been put online. The fact is, this has been written in java, has been compiled without any guard against reverse engineering and hasn't been properly tested and/or reviewed before showing up. So, it's easy to check for bugs and security issues by reversing it, but very hard to somehow contribute on the project because the code we are reading is coming from a disasembler.

That's interesting. NxT and BCT are mine as well - not by intention. I invested a small part of my BTC in NxT and then before I knew it grew into half my entire holdings so I had to investigate further to decide whether to hold on to it or dump it back to BTC.

What do you think about other "2nd Generation" contenders like Etherium and Mastercoin ? The difference is that Mastercoin (obviously) runs on top of the Bitcoin network (which may be a good thing) and Etherium is basically a programming language for blockchain applications.

Why are you so convinced about next that you're comfortable to throw your lot into it ? I'd be interested to hear your views (or anybody else's for that matter).

(sorry for my English)

The problem of Mastercoin or Etherium is the mining. It's not sustainable, economically (and ecologically). It's a waste of money while they need a lot of energy and new materials (also money). When a mineable cryptocurrency is successful, the hashrate grows and the work and the investment (energy and mining computers) grow as well. Then NXT grow, the system don't need this waste of time, energy and material. When you word for NXT, it's a real plus-value for the NXT economy and system.
Market cap of all mining coins are 90 billion $ but how many $ since the beginning  for the electricity bills and for useless computer material (mining systems are useless for the real-life)  ? And it's not investment for BTC or other altcoins while the security is not better, miners should always mine and where is no end.
And the mineable coins need to create new coins for miners to motivate them (and pay the bill of the wast of energy). In 10 years, the bitcoin don't  have coin creation anymore also the hashrate should fall and the security as well.

The only one crypto 2nd generation who resolve the problem is NXT. I wait to understand how exactly eMunie works. It could be a second solution but it's not a good investment while it's inflationary cryptocoin.
