NXT Adoption
« on: February 07, 2014, 01:19:51 AM »
I am going to make a suggestion that is going to sound completely insane to some people. There is however a certain logic behind it which I hope will be evident. I am going to suggest that we start a group (Lets call this group NXT Foundation) who's goal is to promote adoption and use of NXT. In particular the group would focus on two thing's 1) NXT Technology 2) actual adoption.

NXT technologies would be things like the new wallet produced by butterfly lab's except for using NXT. As far as adoption I suggest it focus not here in the USA but instead in African and South American countries. Say for example a easy to use NXT wallet was created, the NXT foundation would then approach a country like say Madagascar and point out to its governing body that this technology (crypto currency) is here and its here to stay, you can either get on board or get left behind. Once the country is brought on board the NXT foundation would give away these NXT wallets, in addition they would raise NXT to convert the countries current currency to NXT. thus people would trade in the currency they are using for NXT. The reason the funds would have to be raised through donation of NXT is because that currency would have 0 value. The benefit however is that NXT would greatly go up in value. The foundation would also bring in investors to help bootstrap that countries infrastructure, these would be investors not donors. What do you all think?

Yes great idea. This is a huge 99.99% missing aspect to NXT.

One only has to look at how well organized DOGE has been in this regard http://foundation.dogecoin.com/donate

for example the neat website and recent rapid funding of http://doge4kids.org/

Amazing.
