As I created this topic in second NXT forum, here is the question:

Why do you use sites like "nextcoin.org", when it should be: "nxtcoin.org"?

Let's discuss it here, what would you prefer?

IMO its unfortunate that this domain was created with the e in there if what the developers want is to not have that e.  Maybe the official stance could be something like this?: that spelled out it is NextCoin but the trading symbol is NXT...

But this isnt really my baby. (not even a stakeholder)

I agree. Keeping the official name as a real word (eg: NextCoin) sounds better in my opinion.

I had a tough call with the forum domain and had to make a quick decision. Weighted the pros and cons and this is what it ended up with. Point of no return passed  ???

After Nxt gets decentralized DNS we'll get a lot of domain names to choose from.

oh come on man dont leave us hanging like that....

Obviously the trading symbol is NXT (or XNT if you go ISO route) but it is nextcoin or nxtcoin?  or just next or nxt?  Is there ever any plan to drop the 'coin'?

Can we get some official guidance from the owner or devs such as yourself on obtaining a logo?  I mean it looks like we may be on coinmarketcap soon.  Id as soon not do that w/o an official logo...

BCNext called it "Nxt". He wanted "XNT" as the currency code, but most of us (me too) prefer "NXT". We have no official guidance, it's a decentralized currency.

I Doubt nxt.org is not taken.

Also, adding coin to the end of a url was a great idea.
It let's the crypto community know that this is also a "coin" and you could remember the url better with familiar words like "next" or "coin".
