Number of founders

I see different numbers when people talk about founders - 70,71,73. We r making history so let's stick to the facts as close as possible. Some accounts were merged and controlled by BCNext coz not all coins were claimed due to different reasons. There are 73 transactions in the genesis block, but only https://blockchain.info/address/1BCN1ugdKdWd9pQ8Am9hMhtHZfmbXzxE8a can give the real number. Dixi.

I don't mind it only having 70~ founders. What I mind is that less than 10 of them seem to be active anymore.
For all we know half of them have lost their NXTs because they forgot about the project. Pledging 1 bitcoin or whatever a few months back when Bitcoin was much cheaper isn't really a huge investment that a lot of people would care too deeply about following up on.

Technically it's 73, coz Genesis block has 73 transactions. But we don't know how many real people were involved. I prefer to say "73" but for books of History I ought to say "check Bitcoin blockchain".

We can't control the actions of other people. Personally, I'm only focusing on what I can directly effect.  I've brought on 6 people locally by explaining NXT, helping them get started and giving away free coins. 7,70,700 founders... if they want to participate, great. If not, nobody can force them.

Unless there's some type of penalty for holding coins too long implemented in the code, I'd recommend we get busy and do something to help bring other people into the mix.

So I am still  willing to do something for promotion Nxt although I am not a stakeholder ,even not a Nxt richer.

About the fact that only around 10 of the founders are still active: does that mean that only 10/73 parts of the initial value of the coin is used? And what will happen with the money on other accounts that is not used (from people getting out, newbies giving up, and not caring about the project any more)? Will after a while not 'all' the money be gone, stuck in unused accounts, as there won't be any new money created? I know this is very theoretical, but won't this create problems for NXT after a while?

Does anyone know if some of those addresses that received NXT from the genesis block haven't moved their coins since.
I.e. they might have forgot/lost them
