NxT Logo Discussion

Awesome!

So I'm the guy that designed the Nxt logo currently up top (Jcsarokin on Bitcointalk.org) - happy I could contribute to the community   

Would you like a PSD or PNG so it can look a bit cleaner up there? Seems a bit pixilated at the moment.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions / changes to the concept in general? I have no problem jumping back into PS and making some changes.

Seems original. not like the other coin themed logos.
It's sure a lot better than I can do.

I think its fine but the colors are a bit dull

Good to see you found your way here so quick, didn't have the time to dig you up from Bitcointalk yet!

Thanks for the great logo, it's really quite good with some quick texture there - further versions from the author himself are certainly more than welcome! Would you think the quick yellow fix suits the forum colors well?

Haha I'm refreshing the NXT page over there like a hawk 

I like the gradient (yellow) - not sure about the emboss though (personal preference).

I'll let the discussion here go on for a little bit before I make any edits.

I think we can eventually run a bounty for the official logo (with some compensation for all participants where possible).

I asked a designer friend of mine to make some sketches for the logo. And he came up with a LOT of them... They're just directions, but if we like any of them, he can finalize the design. I added numbers to the sections to serve references to discussion.
