Future of NXT

Reaching to top 20 is a real possibility, but it will take some time.  Theres a lot of development still to be done and then there's the matter of getting on the exchanges.  I'd say it's possible for Nxt to become a top 20 coin in 3-6 months.

This is a 'Second Generation' coin, like Mastercoin and Bitshares (Ripple could be included too).
Sky is the limit when capital starts flowing from other alts who offer nothing to these ones..

I agree that there is great potential for this coin. All we need is a great community willing to put in some work to help develop and get the name out there. Once we have a community behind it, the sky is the limit!

I don't think we want Nxt to be added on Coinmarketcap just now, the client needs fixing and we haven't even properly launched yet.  It's better to wait until everything is ready.

I don't think we want Nxt to be added on Coinmarketcap just now, the client needs fixing and we haven't even properly launched yet.  It's better to wait until everything is ready.

I totally agree. Using the client is quite complicated atm and it is not stable nor user friendly at all...

With all due respect, we're trying to attract the attention of a broad spectrum of people asap, ranging from technically gifted individuals who will want to support this cryptocurrency to investors and speculators. Coinmarketcap exposure will find us the right people to further develop this exciting project.

And remember - "Done is better than perfect". I for one appreciate the "warts and all" aspect of this currency's release - It presents a worthy challenge for us all!

I suppose it would help attract developers as well, I hadn't thought of that, but it would still be better to have a functioning basic client before attracting that kind of attention, the current version seems to have some basic functionality problems.  We don't want to put off investors by having their first experience of Nxt be a buggy client that doesn't work half the time.

Once the client is solid, easy to run for layman and secure, then it will start to grow.  Also, when source code is released and a few new features implemented, it will really take off, at this point its all speculations, but that's 90% of the market.
