Woh! Dgex price jump

If I'm not mistaken, the Official Launch of the coin is the first week of January, so in the meantime, this is a great opportunity to get your hands on whatever portion you can afford or feel willing to risk. The client is still beta, but if you view the forum posts, the dev(s) have been very prompt in fixing issues, but still has a ways to go. For me, it was worth the risk, so I bought some coins and will be patient and see where it stands in a couple of months. My hopes are high though

Yeah. But th only people profiting the most are those who invested in the genesis block. I doubt the prices will ever rise that much idk.

Agreed, it will take a while for others to see a decent profit.  Those genesis block investors have about 50M each.

I'm one of those genesis block investors, I had 14 million and I sold most of them, I have 1.5 million left, that's a lot less than 50 million! (just saying, some of us distributed our coins )

I feel that Nxt still has a lot of room to grow. Especially when you consider some alt coins have a much higher price than Nxt does currently.

I may not have been a genesis block owner, but I was able to get in early when the price was still 1M Nxt = 1 BTC.

Yes, I think 1M Nxt at 1 BTC is a good buy, that's roughly a $1M valuation for the whole Nxt currency, which is a good time to get it.  Right now I suspect we are around $5M total valuation with current sell prices.

That's a nice price, I would buy to sell it rightaway on DGEX, but I cannot trust you .

DGEX prices are valid, and there's the intermediary with long history in the scene who's also the admin of this forum - very easy and comfortable.

just b/c you dont trust it for valuation doesnt mean you still cant just propose an offer there and find someone to accept it.  Heck, given those shenanigans, I would do that then advertise in there of the offer I just put up (that is if i had any more BTC to buy some NXT with)

That would seem to provide some inherent escrow would it not?  I may be wrong here but if I correctly understand the way DGEX works then it would seem the case.  (plus, I slept in a holiday inn last night.  sorry if you international folks dont get that joke)

Agreed, might as well throw it up there, I definitely trust Dgex as a place to buy Nxt, just don't know about price manipulation.

All my time is basically going to operating the site with its massive momentum underway growing every day - and to top that off I'm an enterpreneur not a designer. When resources allow the site can be improved A LOT, both by design and functionality.

It was most important to get NXT off the ground - and look what's happened with the launch of DGEX and nextcoin.org: +1300% price in a few days. That's a good starting point and keeps us motivated!

I don't even know what to say, my thoughts exactly. It wasn't too long ago that coins were using Google docs to exchange for weeks.
